Lawrence Bosire Miruka (LBM) is a forensic and investigative accounting professional trained at the International Institute of Forensic Studies. He is currently advancing his expertise through ongoing studies in Anti-Money Laundering (AML). His career is deeply rooted in whistleblowing, having appeared in court proceedings as part of legal processes related to forensic investigations.

As a forensic expert, LBM applied his knowledge to expose and blow the whistle against the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on 13 February 2020, bringing to light critical issues of maladministration, tax evasion, corruption, and money laundering.

Beyond whistleblowing, LBM is also an innovator. He patented the Geo-Mapping System under Data Mining with the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (Patent Certificate No.

KE/U/2024/2823). Building on this invention, he developed the Rental Revenue Management System, duly registered with the Kenya Copyright Board (Certificate No. RZ77039). This system has gained recognition and approval from key institutions, including the Auditor General and the Controller of Budget, as a reliable tool for tax collection.

With growing interest in his innovation, LBM’s system is positioned for adoption not only in Kenya but also across Africa and globally, marking a significant step forward in transparency, accountability, and revenue management.
